Beyond the writing

Communication about a project to all parties involved, especially project issues, is one of the most important single factors in a project's success. Other forms of communication in a project include the project proposal, project definition, project plan, issues log, risk log, and change log. Many projects also include design documents. There will always be issues and risks in projects; a good project manager is successful not because he or she doesn't have issues or risks, but because he or she knows how to communicate those issues and risks in such a way that they are resolved or become unimportant.

One of the most important parts of communication on a project is identifying the stakeholders. Sometimes it can be difficult to identify every party who is influenced by the project. But identifying all the stakeholders is crucial to the success of the project.
