Press releases typically end with the words "End of press release", followed by the name and telephone number etc. of a spokesperson. Sometimes an invitation to a press lunch or press conference is added as well. It should be clear that this part is not preformulated (often 'you' is used in the invitation to refer to the journalists): after all no newspaper readers are meant to attend the press conference or join the journalists for lunch. |
